Founder's Office: Technology Specialist

Location: New York, United States

Annual base salary: $175,000–$250,000, plus year-end bonus and benefits.

hirify.global is a technology-focused financial firm whose Founder's Office provides direct technical support to the firm's founder.

What you will do

• Provide on-site and off-site technology support for the founder and family office.
• Research, test, evaluate, install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and other technology products.
• Develop workflow applications, monitoring tools, and administration tools to automate maintenance tasks.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices across supported systems and devices.
• Use generative AI tools to accelerate software development and automate workflows.
• Participate in firmwide technology, information security, and large-scale systems engineering projects.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or another technical discipline, with up to six years of comparable experience.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, C#, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with modern development practices and tools.
• Extensive knowledge of Windows and/or UNIX environments and general systems administration.
• Experience supporting users by phone, deskside, and/or remotely, with strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate large, ambiguous projects and solve unfamiliar technical problems through research and critical analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience with or keen interest in cybersecurity, including threat detection, vulnerability management, endpoint protection, security monitoring, and security controls.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools for software development.
