Compliance Specialist (AI Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the organisation’s Governance, Risk and Compliance framework.
• Maintain regulatory obligations, compliance registers, policy frameworks, and governance processes.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and coordinate implementation of compliance requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, compliance reviews, assurance programs, certifications, and regulatory reviews.
• Track audit findings and remediation activities through to completion and provide reporting to senior management.
• Oversee third-party risk, supplier compliance, business continuity, operational resilience, crisis management, and ESG reporting activities.

Requirements

• Significant experience in governance, risk, compliance, assurance, or internal audit roles.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance and compliance frameworks.
• Experience supporting audits, certifications, and regulatory compliance programs.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing, analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Degree in Business, Law, Governance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional certifications.

Nice to have

• Experience in a highly regulated organisation.
• Knowledge of information security, privacy, and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Experience supporting Board and Audit & Risk Committee reporting.
• Familiarity with ESG reporting, operational governance requirements, GRC platforms, and compliance management systems.
