Automation Technician I/II/III - SDF (C Shift)

What you will do

• Support the operation, maintenance, and system management of site process control systems.
• Troubleshoot process downtime and repair control system hardware.
• Perform routine, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
• Support control system equipment installations, hardware inventory, and maintenance procedures.
• Help maintain and improve process control systems while coordinating technical clarifications with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Work within automation and IT standards, CGMPs, quality, safety, and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in electronics, computers, engineering, or a relevant field.
• A high school diploma or GED may be considered with two years of relevant understanding of instrumentation and control systems.
• Entry-level ability to troubleshoot PLCs, process control systems, and distributed control systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs such as Rockwell and Siemens, HMI, PCS/DCS, SCADA, Historian, MES, and MS SQL is preferred.
• Basic process control systems knowledge in pharmaceutical, biotech, food, cosmetic, or beverage manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts, handle equipment weighing up to 33 pounds, work at heights or in confined spaces when required, and use appropriate protective equipment.
