Senior Advanced Software Engineer (Embedded)

Location: Remote approved; U.S. citizenship is required due to classified defense work and eligibility for access to classified information.

Salary: USD $149,902–$166,298 per year, depending on experience and other factors.

What you will do

• Lead activities across the software development life cycle.
• Develop embedded software and firmware using C and C++.
• Program real-time operating systems and work with Nordic SoCs.
• Contribute to Android development and AI-augmented development and testing.
• Apply technical standards and methodologies to solve complex engineering challenges.
• Provide technical leadership and support the success and development of other team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to access classified information are required.
• Strong experience with C and C++ programming.
• Experience in embedded software, firmware, and RTOS development.
• Ability to lead software development activities and communicate technical concepts effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience with Nordic SoCs.
• Android development experience.
• Experience applying AI to continuous improvement and innovation.
