Senior Expeditor (Industrial Procurement)

What you will do

• Monitor purchase orders and vendor progress to ensure timely shipment of equipment and materials.
• Track supplier engineering data, drawings, purchasing activities, and scheduled milestones.
• Coordinate with logistics to arrange safe and cost-efficient truck, air, or ocean shipments to project sites.
• Identify and resolve purchase order execution issues, delivery problems, defects, and refund negotiations.
• Coordinate the scheduling and movement of goods with operations, maintenance, warehouse, and engineering teams.
• Lead procurement status meetings and maintain project schedules, supplier updates, and procurement budget performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of procurement experience in an industrial construction environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• Fluent English communication skills required.
• Experience with logistics, freight shipments, customs clearance, and import processes.
• Familiarity with fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Strong organizational, communication, prioritization, independent working, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
