Location: Lexington, Massachusetts, United States; conditions also reference Plainsboro, New Jersey, United States. Overnight travel: 0–10%.

Base compensation: $120,300–$222,600 annually, plus eligibility for a company performance bonus and potential long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Provide legal counsel on the application of U.S. law, regulations, and healthcare industry standards.
• Advise Medical, Regulatory, Marketing, Sales, Commercial Operations, and Ethics, Compliance & Privacy stakeholders on commercial initiatives.
• Support promotional and other material review committees and help shape cross-functional strategies.
• Provide practical, compliant solutions for commercial legal issues while managing business risks.
• Advise on healthcare-provider, patient, and payor interactions, including compliance with the U.S. Anti-Kickback Statute and PhRMA Code.
• Support product lifecycle planning and draft, review, and negotiate contracts.

Requirements

• J.D. degree required.
• N.J. bar admission or the ability to obtain a limited in-house counsel license required.
• 4+ years of legal experience preferred, including experience with the FDA, pharmaceutical companies, or product liability litigation.
• Strong problem-solving, written communication, verbal communication, collaboration, and initiative skills.
• Ability to identify laws, regulations, and industry trends and support related policies and training.

Nice to have

• Experience defending pharmaceutical product liability or enforcement litigation.
• Additional healthcare or pharmaceutical experience involving FDA matters, advertising and promotion, anti-kickback laws, antitrust, or privacy.
