Focus on developing compliant market strategies, negotiating with regulatory bodies, managing product lifecycle risks, and guiding cross-functional international projects.

What you will do
- Advise German teams on legal and compliance matters and participate in relevant internal committees.
- Provide international regulatory law guidance to Regulatory, Technical Operations, and other cross-functional teams.
- Assess regulatory risks and compliance obligations for new products, market entries, and strategic initiatives.
- Advise on pharmaceutical law, product labelling, patient information, pharmacovigilance, quality assurance, product supply, recalls, and patient safety.
- Support commercial activities including sales, marketing, market access, non-promotional education, patient engagement, communications, and healthcare stakeholder interactions.
- Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, support investigations and litigation matters, and supervise external legal counsel.
Requirements
- Legal education from a recognized law school and qualification to practice law in Germany.
- At least 6 years of post-qualification experience, including business partnering in Germany and substantial life sciences industry experience.
- Experience advising on healthcare compliance and interactions with healthcare professionals, trade associations, market access stakeholders, and government officials.
- Knowledge of regulatory law, clinical matters, product launches, market access, antitrust, advertising, employment, data privacy, and anti-corruption.
- Fluent English required; German is a plus.
- Strong communication, analytical, judgment, project leadership, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
