Manufacturing Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Provide first-level technical support, diagnose issues, and maintain production flow and testing uptime.
• Document non-conformities, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain, calibrate, and improve production tooling and test equipment.
• Monitor First Pass Yield and throughput times to identify and resolve production bottlenecks.
• Execute New Product Introduction activities and Engineering Change Orders for prototypes and zero-series units.
• Coordinate with Industrialisation, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, Logistics, and the EMS partner to support stable production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• At least 3 years of experience in high-tech manufacturing or robotics.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, soldering, crimping, and cable assembly.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive, structured, and independent working style.
• Fluency in German and English; English at B2 level minimum.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with strong technical communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• Experience with test data analysis or yield monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with firmware update and validation workflows.
• Swiss Category B driving license.
