TL;DR
Manufacturing Engineer (Robotics): Managing daily manufacturing operations, production support, tooling maintenance, and prototype and zero-series builds for industrial robotic platforms with an accent on troubleshooting, NPI execution, and production performance. Focus on diagnosing technical issues, resolving bottlenecks through FPY and throughput analysis, and implementing engineering changes across the shop floor.

What you will do
- Provide first-level technical support, diagnose issues, and maintain production flow and testing uptime.
- Document non-conformities, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain, calibrate, and improve production tooling and test equipment.
- Monitor First Pass Yield and throughput times to identify and resolve production bottlenecks.
- Execute New Product Introduction activities and Engineering Change Orders for prototypes and zero-series units.
- Coordinate with Industrialisation, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, Logistics, and the EMS partner to support stable production.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree or technical diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
- At least 3 years of experience in high-tech manufacturing or robotics.
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, soldering, crimping, and cable assembly.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive, structured, and independent working style.
- Fluency in German and English; English at B2 level minimum.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with strong technical communication skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma.
- Experience with test data analysis or yield monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with firmware update and validation workflows.
- Swiss Category B driving license.
