Regional Medical Lead (AI)

Location: Chicago, Illinois or Detroit, Michigan, United States; significant travel of approximately 50% by automobile and air.

Base salary: $195,000–$230,000 per year, plus cash bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with national and regional KOLs in lipid management and preventive cardiology.
• Provide scientific support and medical education to healthcare providers, including advanced data and case reviews.
• Train educational faculty, deliver formal medical education, and support regional education opportunities.
• Gather field insights from KOLs and physician advisors to inform clinical and education strategy.
• Facilitate physician-initiated research proposal intake and evaluation with the Clinical team.
• Support conferences, medical symposia, sponsored research communications, and internal clinical training focused on Plaque Analysis.

Requirements

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree such as PharmD, PhD, MD/DO, MS, PA, or ARNP/DNP.
• At least 5 years of cardiovascular experience; lipid management experience is preferred.
• Experience in pharma, biotech, or medical devices, ideally as a medical science liaison.
• Deep understanding of cardiovascular disease, coronary artery disease management, preventive cardiology, and lipid management.
• Strong scientific communication, public speaking, presentation, literature evaluation, teamwork, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel regularly, including approximately 50% travel, and support a large geography.
