What you will do

• Design and implement technology solutions for integrating, visualizing, modeling, and analyzing large and complex data sets.
• Develop and optimize methods, algorithms, and technologies that generate insights and accelerate the pharmaceutical development pipeline.
• Apply expertise in data storage, transfer, integration, data warehousing, statistics, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
• Partner with Development Sciences subject-matter experts and Information Research to advance data and digital capabilities.
• Research relevant scientific and technological advances and incorporate them into projects and program strategies.
• Mentor or supervise one or more team members and author publications and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience, master's degree with 4 years, or PhD with 2 years of experience.
• Thorough theoretical and practical understanding of the relevant discipline.
• Demonstrated experience implementing creative technology solutions that advance business outcomes.
• Background in life sciences or pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Work location: North Chicago, Illinois, United States.
