Salary: $135,000–$155,000 annual salary, depending on experience

What you will do

  • Develop and implement high-throughput DMPK assays suitable for machine learning methods.
  • Develop and deploy chromatographic and mass spectrometric methodologies, including reversed-phase, HILIC, SFC, and 2D-LC/MS separations.
  • Design, optimize, and troubleshoot LC-MS/MS and UHPLC methods covering sample preparation, separation, and data interpretation across complex biological matrices.
  • Develop computational approaches for interpreting complex analytical data using R, Python, command-line tools, and statistical methods.
  • Present findings to internal and external project teams.
  • Collaborate with machine learning scientists, software engineers, biologists, chemists, and automation engineers.

Requirements

  • PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Biology, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of post-PhD experience in analytical or bioanalytical research.
  • Deep technical expertise with HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS, CAD/MS, spectroscopy, and related analytical instrumentation.
  • Hands-on chromatographic method development across reversed-phase, normal-phase, HILIC, SEC, SFC, and 2D-LC/MS modes.
  • Strong familiarity with DMPK and small-molecule drug discovery, plus experience analyzing complex chromatographic datasets.
  • Experience with R or Python, laboratory automation platforms, and high-throughput screening methods.

Nice to have

  • Industry experience in analytical or bioanalytical research.
  • Experience with EchoMS and BBB assay development.
  • Experience with SciexOS, Xcalibur, MassHunter, Chromeleon, Virscidian, or Skyline.
  • A paper, preprint, or software repository demonstrating relevant work.
