What you will do

  • Develop, optimize, test, and implement analytical methods and control strategies for small-molecule drug substances and products.
  • Apply chromatography and spectroscopic techniques to characterize pharmaceutical products and profile impurities.
  • Support method validation, technical transfer packages, regulatory documentation, and early- to late-stage development programs.
  • Conduct laboratory research, interpret and visualize data, and design follow-on experiments based on multidisciplinary findings.
  • Collaborate with Process Chemistry, Process Engineering, Drug Product Development, Pre-Clinical Safety, Quality Assurance, and CMC-Regulatory teams.
  • Maintain scientific rigor, laboratory productivity, safety, controlled-material handling, and applicable GxP compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or an equivalent field with typically 7+ years of experience, or a master’s degree with typically 5+ years of experience.
  • Strong analytical chemistry background and the ability to develop and troubleshoot methods with minimal guidance.
  • Hands-on experience with HPLC, UPLC, GC, chromatography, and modern spectroscopic techniques.
  • Expert knowledge of Waters Empower CDS and experience with SLIMS or similar LIMS systems.
  • Experience with computerized data-handling systems and strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary scientists and engineers in a fast-paced environment.
