What you will do

• Lead and support peptide product development from an analytical perspective across the development pipeline.
• Develop, optimize, and execute analytical methods for synthetic peptide drug substances, impurities, and impurity profiles.
• Conduct laboratory research and method development with a high degree of autonomy.
• Design follow-on experiments and formulate conclusions from multidisciplinary data.
• Process, interpret, and visualize data to support project team decisions.
• Implement analytical testing procedures and control strategies for drug discovery candidates.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences: bachelor's degree with typically 10 years, master's degree with 8 years, or Ph.D. with 0–2 years of related industry experience.
• Experience with peptide development is required.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to independently develop and troubleshoot analytical methods.
• Experience with computerized data handling systems and modern spectroscopic techniques applied to small-molecule analysis.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for collaboration with interdisciplinary scientists, engineers, and R&D partner functions.

Nice to have

• HPLC analysis and method development experience.
• Mass spectrometry expertise.
• Hands-on experience with synthetic organic chemistry.
