Help Desk Support (Oracle)

Location: Onsite at Naval Air Station North Island in Coronado, California / San Diego, California; U.S. citizenship required

Salary: $67,000–$91,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide application and process support for Oracle-based and web-based systems.
• Analyze operational and technical data, fulfill ad hoc reporting requests, and support program-level decisions.
• Develop and execute SQL queries and scripts for reporting, data validation, and analysis.
• Investigate database and application discrepancies, troubleshoot user issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Support data replication, exchange services, system interfaces, and application enhancements.
• Provide Tier II help desk support and coordinate issue resolution with end users, infrastructure teams, and developers.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Secret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one is required.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 1 year of experience, or an associate degree plus 5 years of experience, or a high school diploma plus 9 years of experience.
• Experience with Oracle databases, PL/SQL, SQL queries, reporting, data analysis, or application support.
• Ability to troubleshoot data and system issues and support end users in an onsite environment.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Navy or Department of Defense programs.
• Familiarity with Python, PHP scripting, CSS, database reporting tools, data integration, replication, or DevOps activities.
