Senior People Business Partner, PDMS

Location: Remote within Canada; the role is listed in Toronto, ON, Canada and may require in-person onboarding or identity verification.

Salary: $120,000–$176,000 starting base salary for Canada-based roles, with potential additional bonuses, stock grants, and benefits.

What you will do

• Advise VP-level leaders on organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, talent strategy, and complex people matters.
• Translate business strategy into integrated workforce, organizational design, talent, performance, and leadership plans.
• Identify organizational risks and opportunities, frame ambiguity, and recommend scalable interventions.
• Guide leaders through complex change, operating-model development, transitions, and difficult decisions.
• Provide executive coaching and strengthen leadership capability, team dynamics, and talent decisions.
• Partner with People & Places Centers of Excellence and internal stakeholders on strategic initiatives, including M&A and integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years of HR experience, including 7+ years as an HRBP or PBP supporting senior leaders.
• Expertise in organizational design, talent strategy, workforce planning, performance management, executive coaching, employee relations, and change management.
• Ability to influence senior leaders, solve complex organizational problems, and connect people decisions to business outcomes.
• Strong business acumen and ability to use qualitative and quantitative data for decision-making.
• Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-paced, evolving, and global environments; willingness to use AI and emerging tools.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in organizational development, business administration, industrial or labor relations, or a related field.
• Executive or professional coaching accreditation.
• Experience with technology, engineering, or product-driven organizations.
• Experience in matrixed global organizations and enterprise-level People strategy initiatives.
