Senior People Business Partner (R&D)

Location: Remote in the UK

Salary: £68,800–£85,000 per year

What you will do

• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Design leaders on organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and team health.
• Coach managers through performance management, employee relations, feedback, and complex people decisions.
• Support organizational change, including team growth, restructures, and leadership transitions.
• Guide organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent reviews.
• Deliver scalable People programs with Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Compensation, Finance, and Legal.
• Use people data and insights to improve recommendations and team effectiveness, including how AI is shaping teams, roles, and skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a People Business Partner in a fast-paced or scaling environment.
• Experience supporting Engineering, Product, or other technical organizations.
• Strong experience in performance management, employee relations, organizational design, talent planning, compensation, and talent reviews.
• Experience building trusted relationships, coaching leaders, and influencing complex people decisions.
• Experience leading cross-functional People initiatives from planning through execution.
• Working knowledge of UK employment law and a data-informed approach to decision-making.
