Cadet Modeller (Engineering Design)

Location: Adelaide, South Australia, Australia; Australian citizenship required.

What you will do

• Produce basic engineering drawings and 3D models using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or Tekla.
• Set up drawing files according to company standards and procedures.
• Extract and apply information from engineering specifications, standards, and supplier documentation.
• Maintain electronic filing and document control for drafting work.
• Support engineers and senior designers with technical drafting tasks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams while following quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Australian citizenship is required.
• Certificate IV or Diploma in Building Design, Engineering Design and Drafting, or a similar field, or current study toward one.
• Introductory experience with at least one CAD software package, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Civil 3D.
• Strong interest in engineering and the practical application of technology.
• Attention to detail, communication skills, prioritisation, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with initiative and a willingness to learn.
