Frontend Engineer (Angular)

Location: San Francisco, United States; 5 days onsite

Salary: $125,000–$172,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, and support high-traffic, real-time web applications and frontend experiences.
• Build responsive, accessible, and cross-browser interfaces using Angular, Vue, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Analyze requirements and architect reusable components and web pages.
• Implement product features, refine specifications, and improve code quality.
• Participate in code reviews, source control, build automation, and testing.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business partners from concept through delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person university or college.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with a modern SPA framework such as Angular or Vue and TypeScript.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment and strong communication skills.
• Must be eligible to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying web applications to AWS or Azure.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or MySQL.
• Experience with Jest, Mocha, microservices, and software design patterns.
• Experience mentoring junior developers.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Copilot.
