Senior Software Engineer (PHP)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain integrations with CRMs, POS platforms, marketing tools, messaging providers, and other third-party systems.
• Develop REST API, webhook, OAuth, SFTP, and batch data exchange integrations.
• Build scalable backend systems in PHP and TypeScript and extend distributed systems architecture.
• Handle high-throughput messaging workloads, including rate limits, retries, idempotency, and failure recovery.
• Build serverless and distributed solutions on AWS using Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS, and SQS.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Customer Success, third-party providers, and customer engineering teams; provide mentorship and code reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience with PHP, Laravel, TypeScript, or similar technologies.
• Experience building and maintaining third-party integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, SFTP, and batch data exchange.
• Experience with high-throughput or high-volume messaging systems, distributed systems, API design, and database design.
• Working knowledge of AWS, particularly Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, and SNS.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines, including PHPUnit, Jest, and GitHub Actions.
• English is the primary working language; strong communication skills are required for gathering requirements and working with customer technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with CPaaS platforms such as Twilio, Sinch, Vonage, or Bandwidth.
• Telecom or SMS infrastructure experience, including 10DLC, carrier compliance, and deliverability.
• Cybersecurity or serverless architecture experience.
• Frontend fluency with Vue and Tailwind for internal integration tools and dashboards.
