What you will do
- Lead resolution of constrained supply, material shortages, inventory risks, and production-impacting procurement disruptions.
- Coordinate escalations among plants, suppliers, Planning, Quality, Logistics, and Purchasing Center teams.
- Represent plant priorities within Procurement Operations and align site execution with enterprise processes and governance.
- Identify supplier performance, supply continuity, and fulfillment risks affecting production schedules and customer demand.
- Facilitate root cause analysis, corrective actions, governance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Use purchasing metrics, dashboards, automation, and digital tools to improve delivery, inventory health, fulfillment accuracy, and issue resolution.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, 6 years with a master's degree, or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Procurement Operations, or a related field.
- Experience managing complex procurement execution, supply continuity, supplier performance, and exception management challenges.
- Advanced knowledge of procurement operations, purchasing processes, supply planning concepts, and ERP/MRP systems; SAP experience is preferred.
- Experience leading cross-functional issue resolution and influencing Planning, Operations, Quality, Logistics, Finance, and Procurement stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, including experience with metrics, dashboards, KPI management, and operational governance.
