What you will do

• Own and lead strategic projects across the core data storage business and New Ventures, including photonics, magnetics, and nano-fabrication opportunities.
• Deliver market sizing, competitive landscapes, customer and segment analysis, go-to-market frameworks, and build-buy-partner assessments.
• Conduct primary and secondary research on markets, customers, partners, technologies, competitors, and industry peers.
• Build executive-quality slide decks, one-pagers, briefing notes, and read-outs for C-suite and Board audiences.
• Develop financial and analytical models covering market sizing, scenarios, business cases, and go-to-market economics.
• Collaborate with commercial, product, and finance stakeholders to align priorities and drive recommendations through to decisions.

Requirements

• 3–6+ years of overall experience, including at least 2 years in consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or a research-intensive analytical role.
• Experience independently leading complex strategic projects from problem structuring through final recommendation.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including modeling, scenario analysis, business case development, and quantitative frameworks.
• Experience with expert interviews, customer conversations, channel checks, industry reports, analyst research, and public filings.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with commercial, product, finance, and senior leadership stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with solid Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience in deep technology, data storage, semiconductors, or enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience with PitchBook, Bloomberg, Gartner, or similar competitive intelligence and market research tools.
• Experience supporting commercial, go-to-market, or sales organizations.
• MBA or equivalent work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, physics, economics, finance, or a related analytical field.
