Senior Credit Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Assess residential mortgage applications from submission through settlement.
• Communicate with brokers, customers, and internal teams to resolve queries quickly and clearly.
• Manage competing priorities and service-level agreements against daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets.
• Apply credit policies and uphold the credit risk framework.
• Improve credit processes and support workflow automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience in residential lending across conforming and non-conforming applications.
• Strong financial and credit analysis skills with the ability to identify risk.
• Experience reading and verifying supporting documents for fast decision-making.
• Strong organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a curious, proactive, and process-improvement-focused environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with broker-led lending channels.
• Experience in a startup or scale-up environment.
