Lead/Principal Derivatives Operations Specialist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead the processing, settlement, and reconciliation of investment transactions in line with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to maintain data integrity and seamless investment data integration.
• Monitor operational performance, identify risks, resolve discrepancies, and drive workflow improvements.
• Develop reports covering operational metrics, trends, and improvement areas.
• Mentor junior analysts and support the implementation of tools and technologies that improve operational capabilities.
• Provide recommendations to senior leadership on operational improvements, risks, and best practices.

Requirements

• Typically 5+ years of experience in investment operations or a related field.
• Experience overseeing trade processing, settlement, reconciliation, and investment data operations.
• Ability to analyze operational performance and provide actionable improvement recommendations.
• Knowledge of investment operations regulations, industry trends, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
