Budget Analyst CCaRs

What you will do

• Execute and track USAF funds across multiple appropriations for the Fighter/Bomber Directorate and PEO portfolio.
• Use Web CCaR for forecasting, obligation and expenditure tracking, reconciliation, budget loading, and funding document creation.
• Conduct tri-annual FMSuite reviews and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Research open documents across CCaR, CRIS, SDW, and EDA, and resolve ULO/NULO discrepancies with DFAS.
• Prepare reprogramming packages, realignment requests, shortfall analyses, and end-of-year closeout actions.
• Create financial charts, briefings, and written reports for senior leadership while ensuring compliance with Appropriation Law, PPBE, and DoD/USAF regulations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of USAF financial management or budget analysis experience.
• Proficiency with Web CCaR, CRIS, ABSS, DTS, GAFS, SMART, PMRT, SDW, EDA, MOCAS, and FMSuite.
• Knowledge of Appropriation Law, including Time, Purpose, and Amount, and of PPBE.
• Experience preparing PRs, MORDs, MIPRs, AF 616s, and POs.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief senior leadership and collaborate across directorates.
• Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one is required.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting AFLCMC, EPASS, or DoD program offices.
• Understanding of USAF Congressional funding processes and AFM systems.
• Experience with PMA budget planning and end-of-year execution.
• Familiarity with compliance reviews, audits, and MICT processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
