Budget Analyst (CCaRS Application)

What you will do

• Provide functional support, maintenance, and day-to-day guidance for the CCaRS and Executive CCaRS applications.
• Configure user accounts, privileges, budget structures, custom fields, business rules, approval workflows, and system settings.
• Support financial budgeting, program planning, forecasting, reconciliation, requirements management, and database administration.
• Populate and validate budget and requirements data, resolve discrepancies with Government personnel, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Generate budget execution reviews, financial plans, checkbook reports, POM submission data, forecasting reports, and other management reports.
• Configure and verify the CCaRS/SMART integration, support automated data transfers, train users, and research DFAS posting errors.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in a related field with 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in the DoD; or a Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in the DoD; or 15 years of directly related experience with the required certifications, including 8 years in the DoD.
• At least two years of CCAR application system administration experience.
• Documentation of successful completion of CCAR Basic System Administrator Training is required before starting work.
