Senior Architectural Documenter / Architect | WFH | AU Client

Location: Remote from Ortigas, Alabang, Pampanga, or Cebu, Philippines; working hours are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Sydney time, equivalent to 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Philippine time.

What you will do

• Prepare comprehensive, fully resolved architectural construction documentation packages with minimal supervision.
• Develop detailed drawing sets for residential and commercial projects, translating design concepts into technically accurate construction solutions.
• Produce and maintain coordinated ArchiCAD 3D models for documentation and design development.
• Coordinate architectural and interior detailing, including foundations, floors, walls, ceilings, roofs, openings, stairs, joinery, and lighting.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and constructability, and resolve documentation issues independently.
• Coordinate with designers and project coordinators while progressing work autonomously when the local design team is unavailable.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in architecture and/or architectural documentation, with a strong residential architecture background.
• Demonstrated experience working on Australian projects and preparing comprehensive construction drawing sets.
• Strong proficiency in ArchiCAD for both 3D modelling and documentation; ArchiCAD 27 or later is highly desirable.
• Strong technical detailing skills across architectural and interior elements, with the ability to develop practical construction solutions.
• Working knowledge of the National Construction Code and relevant Australian Standards; experience with Australian approval pathways such as DA, CDC, and CC is desirable.
• Clear written and spoken English, availability for Sydney business hours, and ability to work remotely from the specified Philippine locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Class 2 and Class 3 buildings.
• Knowledge of Australian waterproofing and fire compliance detailing.
• Experience working within an Australian architectural practice.
