Metrology Technician II - Tempe Swing Shift (Aerospace)

Location: Tempe, Arizona, United States; onsite swing shift from 2pm–10pm

What you will do

• Calibrate and certify electronic measuring and test equipment according to technical specifications and NIST traceability requirements.
• Calibrate and repair multimeters, frequency counters, timers, oscilloscopes, pressure devices, and related equipment.
• Calibrate standards used in laboratory work and maintain equipment to established performance standards.
• Coordinate calibrations performed in-house and by external vendors while guiding workflow with other technicians.
• Record maintenance activities in CMS, generate test and equipment-condition reports, and prepare customer and regulatory documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma with 3+ years of relevant experience, or an associate degree in engineering technology or a related field with 3 years of experience.
• Working knowledge of areas such as voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, time and frequency, signal conditioning, dimensional tooling, pressure controllers, force gauges, or load cells.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• US citizenship is required.
• Ability to work the 2pm–10pm swing shift.

Nice to have

• Experience with IndySoft, Fluke MET/TEAM, Fluke MET/TRACK, or MET/CAL.
• PMEL, TMDE, or calibration school experience.
