Principal Product Manager (AHV Virtualization Platform)

Location: Hybrid, with onsite work at least three days per week in San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney, or Tokyo, depending on workplace policy and team requirements.

Salary: USD $195,000–$391,000 per year, with potential additional compensation including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, discretionary awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define and execute the roadmap for core AHV hypervisor development.
• Engage enterprise customers, synthesize feedback, and convert insights into prioritized requirements.
• Create market requirements documents and product requirements documents for each release.
• Coordinate product management, engineering, program management, support, marketing, and enablement teams to deliver the roadmap.
• Track and report KPIs, drive adoption, and provide customer advocacy and field support.
• Develop internal and external collateral, messaging, and partner enablement materials.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product, engineering, or product management experience in enterprise data center products, virtualization, IaaS, cloud computing, or related offerings.
• Direct experience or strong familiarity with hardware virtualization ecosystems such as VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, KVM, AWS EC2, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong fundamentals in IaaS and virtualization, including virtual hardware and software, vGPU, guest OS compatibility, migration, I/O devices, APIs and CLI, CPU and NUMA, high availability, and the Linux kernel.
• Experience working with enterprise-class customers and distributed, multi-geographic teams.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, written, oral, and business communication skills.
