Senior DevOps Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado — onsite

Salary: $115,600–$173,300 per year for Colorado Springs.

What you will do

• Build and deploy Helm charts to Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop GitLab CI/CD pipelines to build, scan, publish, and deploy containers and Helm charts.
• Containerize custom applications and troubleshoot failed deployments and pipelines.
• Design high-level architectures for cloud-native networks and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across varied technology stacks.

Requirements

• Active U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance required; eligibility is limited to U.S. citizens.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or another degree supported by relevant experience or certification.
• DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce qualification, such as Security+ or an equivalent certification.
• At least 3 years of experience in cloud engineering, pipeline engineering, or Kubernetes development, with strong Kubernetes proficiency.
• Experience writing Dockerfiles, containerizing applications, using GNU/Linux commands and shell navigation, and working with Git.
• Ability to research and solve complex technical problems independently.

Nice to have

• KCNA or similar Kubernetes certification.
• AWS or Azure experience or certification, and GitLab pipeline-building experience.
• Experience delivering cloud-native applications or deploying to air-gapped networks.
• Familiarity with OAuth2, OIDC, Keycloak, Terraform, Cert-Manager, OpenSSL, PKI, or Kafka.
