What you will do

• Design and manage DevOps infrastructure for the Lunar Ground Software team to support Blue Moon landers.
• Build and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines for avionics software deployed to development hardware and simulated environments.
• Implement monitoring solutions and dashboards to proactively identify issues and ensure system performance.
• Lead initiatives to enhance automation and reduce manual interventions in the software deployment lifecycle.
• Mentor team members on CI/CD best practices and set goals for engineering efficiency and product quality.
• Perform regular audits of pipelines to ensure compliance with safety-critical software standards.

Requirements

• BS or higher degree in Computer Science, physics, mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience in DevOps or software engineering.
• Proficiency with Linux, Docker, and establishing robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong AWS knowledge (VPC, EC2, EKS) and experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Experience with Python and GitLab.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee.

Nice to have

• Aerospace industry experience with safety-critical software and tools qualification (e.g., NPR 7150.2D).
• Experience with C/C++ and test-driven development (TDD).
• Knowledge of configuration as code tools like Ansible for managing physical workstations.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
