TL;DR
Software Engineer (Java/Node.js): Building resilient, scalable, and performant healthcare payment solutions for the Aware platform across the full application delivery stack with an accent on Java, Node.js, Vue.js, AWS, APIs, and distributed systems. What you will do
- Design and implement resilient, scalable, and performant solutions for complex healthcare problems.
- Develop across the full application delivery stack for the Aware platform.
- Build web applications and backend services using Java, Spring, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, Vue.js, and AWS.
- Participate in technical and product discussions with engineering, product, and business leaders.
- Continuously improve engineering quality through strong design, communication, testing, and delivery practices.
- Work independently while taking ownership and proactively identifying improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, system design, scalable web applications, and backend services.
- Professional experience with Java, Spring, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, relational databases, and REST APIs.
- Experience with Vue.js, React, Angular, or another modern frontend framework.
- Knowledge of version control, continuous integration, distributed systems, Shift Left practices, and automated testing with tools such as JUnit, TestNG, Jest, or Vitest.
Nice to have
- Experience with generative AI, machine learning, predictive algorithms, or healthcare-domain technologies.
- Knowledge of statistics.
- Experience with Kafka or other distributed event-streaming platforms.
- Experience with data pipeline technologies.
