Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Tempe, Arizona, United States; hybrid with an on-site expectation of at least three days per week

What you will do

• Gather requirements with business and product stakeholders and design, develop, test, debug, document, and support software applications.
• Build and maintain front-end and back-end components for modern web applications and scalable distributed systems.
• Integrate APIs, data sources, and external systems using secure and scalable connectivity patterns.
• Use generative AI-assisted development tools for research, coding, debugging, documentation, and testing.
• Deploy and support applications in cloud environments while maintaining software quality and reliability.
• Communicate technical concepts, project status, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software, web, or application development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, FastAPI, Gin/Fiber, or similar technologies.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful services, .NET Web API, MassTransit, and Async API.
• Experience with Angular, React, or Vue, client-side SPA development, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with unit testing, cloud deployment on Azure, AWS, or GCP, and LLM integrations using tools such as OpenAI, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or Foundry. Applicants requiring current or future visa sponsorship are not eligible.

Nice to have

• Experience building and supporting distributed systems at scale.
• Exposure to AI-assisted software development practices.
• Experience with agile development and familiarity with cloud-native architectures and microservices design patterns.
• Experience with C# and .NET development.
