Software Engineer II – SAP

What you will do

• Engage with customers to understand use cases, pain points, and software requirements.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications and products across the full development lifecycle.
• Define software architecture, technology stacks, integration methods, deployment strategies, and testing approaches.
• Develop backend applications, APIs, microservices, and interactive user interfaces while improving application performance.
• Apply test-driven development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, encryption, and data anonymization practices.
• Support SAP training and certification tracking, training coordination, readiness dashboards, and scorecards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years of software development experience.
• Practitioner-level experience with at least one programming language or framework, including Java experience or knowledge.
• Experience or knowledge of SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience or knowledge of APIs, SAP, and Jira.
• Experience with change management.
• Availability for the hybrid role in Marshall, Missouri, United States.

Nice to have

• SAP Activate methodology or project management certification.
• SAP certifications in Security, GRC, FICO, S/4HANA, or related modules.
• Experience with ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management frameworks.
• Familiarity with automotive or battery manufacturing operations.
