Senior Agentic Quality Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within Germany or the Netherlands; the role is part of a hybrid working environment.

Salary: €5,250–€6,500 per year

What you will do

• Design and maintain automated test suites across platform or product team interfaces and surfaces.
• Write integration and contract tests covering correctness, schema stability, and failure isolation.
• Apply property-based testing, fuzzing, mutation testing, non-functional testing, and production-quality signals where appropriate.
• Assess performance, data consistency, access control, sensitive-data handling, migration safety, and backward compatibility risks.
• Use Claude Code, subagents, and MCP tools to generate tests, investigate failures, propose fixes, and create multi-file changes.
• Build CI evals and bounded agent workflows while reviewing generated tests and keeping human approval accountable for behaviour changes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in test or quality engineering with ownership of automated test suites.
• Strong API and integration testing skills across team or service interfaces.
• Hands-on Claude Code experience with test generation, failure analysis, and multi-file editing.
• CI/CD fluency, including writing and maintaining quality gates.
• Experience with databases, data integrity, consistency, and API contracts.
• Fluent English is required for communication with engineers, product stakeholders, and other teams.

Nice to have

• Contract testing or consumer-driven contract experience.
• SQL for test-data setup and assertions.
• Security-aware testing involving secrets, sensitive data, or compliance contexts.
• Search-engine testing or experience supporting AI tooling adoption.
