TL;DR
Senior Quality Engineer (AI): Building and owning full-stack quality frameworks for front-end applications, cloud-based back-end services, internal LLMs, and third-party AI tools with an accent on UI, API, service-layer, and non-deterministic system testing. Focus on designing automated regression coverage, validating AI-driven features, refining acceptance criteria, supporting production releases, and improving observability and defect management.
Location: Remote in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, or Costa Rica

What you will do
- Build, maintain, and execute automated test frameworks and regression suites across UI, API, and service layers.
- Test internally developed LLMs and third-party AI tools and services, including non-deterministic features.
- Own test planning, execution, release support, and production health monitoring from story validation through deployment.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Product Design to define clear, testable acceptance criteria.
- Advocate for quality through code reviews, technical guidance, and mentoring mid-level quality engineers.
- Establish defect tracking, triage, communication, and observability practices using AI-assisted tooling.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software testing and QA experience in an Agile Scrum environment.
- 5+ years building test frameworks with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python, including hands-on WebdriverIO or Playwright experience.
- Experience with manual, exploratory, regression, integration, API/service, and database testing.
- Knowledge of Git branching strategies, pull request workflows, and incremental CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Daily experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot, combined with strong critical thinking and quality ownership.
- Experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, or Selenium; Jest, Vitest, or Mocha; performance tools such as k6, JMeter, or Locust; GitHub Actions; AWS; observability tools; and test management platforms.
Nice to have
- Experience testing AI-driven features, LLM outputs, or ML-backed services.
- Familiarity with performance and accessibility testing.
- Experience with AWS or GCP and CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
- Background in EdTech, e-learning, or consumer-facing SaaS products.
