What you will do

• Lead the Maintenance team and maintain high standards of work quality, productivity, safety, and customer service.
• Plan manpower, schedules, and priorities for daily operations and projects in a 24/7 facility.
• Implement work-order and cGMP documentation processes and maintain OSHA-compliant safety standards.
• Manage preventive maintenance, spare-parts inventory, supplier relationships, annual budgets, and capital expenditure recommendations.
• Develop employee training matrices covering equipment, systems, technology, mechanical and electrical skills, and safety requirements.
• Support new facility and production-system projects, operational transitions, sanitation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Management, Production Systems, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• 3–5 years of experience in maintenance or a related facilities, manufacturing, or production environment.
• Ability to develop manpower plans, schedule work, prioritize competing demands, and collaborate across departments in a 24/7 operating environment.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings, with knowledge of single-phase and three-phase power, HVAC systems, and water treatment.
• Experience with computerized preventive-maintenance and spare-parts systems, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and word processing.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organization, and people-leadership skills; ability to travel up to 25%.

Nice to have

• Experience leading maintenance teams in manufacturing, production, food, supplement, pharmaceutical, or another regulated environment.
• Experience with cGMP documentation, OSHA standards, preventive maintenance, spare-parts management, and continuous improvement programs.
• Experience supporting facility or production-system launches, capital projects, or operational transitions.
• Familiarity with Mozart, JIRA, computerized maintenance management systems, or similar software.
