Simulation Software Analyst / Engineer

Location: On-site in Beavercreek, Ohio, United States. Standard 8am–4pm core hours; minimal to moderate travel.

What you will do

• Configure, execute, monitor, and troubleshoot simulations in laboratory and virtual test environments.
• Validate simulation inputs, outputs, configurations, and test objectives while supporting developmental and operational test events.
• Develop and maintain simulation scenarios based on operational requirements.
• Analyze simulation results, identify trends, anomalies, and risks, and create reports, summaries, and visualizations.
• Maintain test records and configuration documentation and present findings to technical teams and program leadership.
• Support digital engineering artifacts, system models, Digital Thread and Digital Twin initiatives, and coordination across software, systems engineering, test, and cybersecurity teams.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or higher in systems engineering, computer engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related STEM field.
• 1–3 years of systems engineering experience.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Ability to support Government and DoD customer demonstrations, reviews, and test events.

Nice to have

• Top Secret security clearance.
• Familiarity with modern software development tools, languages, and methodologies.
• Knowledge of DoD open architectures such as Open Mission Systems (OMS).
• Experience with software architecture and development, data modeling, test-driven development, or mission planning.
• Experience with collaborative software development in open-source or professional team environments.
