Systems Engineer and Subject Matter Expert (Cybersecurity)

Location: Requires Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly

Salary: $231,000–$253,000 per year, plus an additional $58,000–$63,000 in immediately vested company 401(k) contributions.

What you will do

• Develop technical training curricula, course materials, and hands-on exercises.
• Serve as a subject matter expert who instructs, coaches, and mentors students and junior personnel.
• Develop and review Job Qualification Standards and Technique Qualification Standards.
• Create and maintain training pipelines with measurable milestones and defined timelines.
• Provide systems engineering expertise and technical documentation support to training stakeholders.

Requirements

• Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly is required.
• 8 years of experience, plus a bachelor's degree or four additional years of experience in place of the degree.
• Knowledge of CNE/CNO operations and cyber mission tradecraft.
• Experience developing and delivering technical training and instructional materials.
• Experience developing or reviewing JQS and TQS standards.
• Experience with operating systems and networking concepts, including security, design, and troubleshooting.

Nice to have

• Experience with VMware/ESXi, Proxmox, or KVM virtualization platforms.
• Proficiency in Bash, Python, or C++.
• Experience creating virtual training environments and Capture-The-Flag events.
• Experience mentoring operators and exploitation analysts.
• Experience applying AI/ML technologies to improve workload efficiency and automate routine tasks.
