Sr Analyst / Manager Strategic Sourcing (Mechanical, Transportation, and Signal Services Buyer)

Location: Fort Worth, TX, United States; full-time office role with one remote workday per week. Relocation assistance may be available depending on business needs.

Salary: $72,200–$122,000 annually, based on experience and position level.

What you will do

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for complex commodities, services, and selected materials.
• Manage service requests, prepare and complete RFPs, and establish service level agreements.
• Review, edit, and negotiate contracts in collaboration with the Legal department.
• Research supplier technology and supply markets, collect internal data, and perform analytics.
• Recommend savings opportunities and support supplier selection decisions.
• Build relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and business partners while leading process improvements and cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in the United States without current or future BNSF assistance for employment authorization.
• At least one year of experience in procurement, finance, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Ability to work in an indoor office environment in Fort Worth and travel as needed, normally 5% or less.
• The role is an individual contributor position.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• CPA, MBA, APICS, or CPM certification.
