Senior Software Engineer (Golang)

Location: Austin, Texas, USA; may telecommute from any home office in the U.S. Worksite: 11305 Four Points Drive, Suite 100, Austin, TX 78726. 40 hours per week.

Salary: $114,754–$171,700 USD base salary for US-based employees. Additional compensation may include a bonus or role-specific commission and potential equity participation.

What you will do

• Create Flink jobs to transform Kafka data for near-real-time latency requirements.
• Lead high-impact migrations across mission-critical data pipelines and drive development initiatives from concept to completion.
• Implement IAM data collection strategies across AWS, Azure, and GCP and optimize data transfer between cloud entities.
• Deploy customizable serverless architectures with AWS SAM and build self-service platforms using Snowflake, S3, Airflow, and similar tools.
• Resolve CVEs and vulnerabilities in microservices and container libraries, and contribute to architecture and technical strategy decisions.
• Lead code reviews, mentor engineers, provide technical guidance, and improve SDLC processes and development workflows.

Requirements

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least two years of software development experience, including delivering maintainable code for a CIEM product and data pipeline.
• Experience with Golang, PySpark, AWS Step Functions, DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, Kubernetes, GitHub, PagerDuty, and Grafana.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure optimization and maintenance, CI/CD pipelines, and data engineering for streaming and batch pipelines.
• Experience with Delta, Hudi, and Iceberg data lakehouse formats.
• Work must be performed at the Austin worksite or from a home office in the United States.
