Frontend Developer (Angular)

Location: On-site in El Segundo, California; local to the Los Angeles area or willing to relocate

Basic compensation: $126,000–$138,000 per year in California

What you will do

• Build and maintain large-scale enterprise web applications with Angular.
• Lead frontend development efforts, own implementation stories, and guide junior developers.
• Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces using TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SASS.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Implement scalable frontend architecture, reactive programming, and state management.
• Collaborate with backend, DevOps, and product teams while supporting CI/CD build and deployment processes.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience focused on frontend engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Angular 2+ and enterprise-grade web application development.
• Expertise in TypeScript, modern JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3/SASS, responsive design, and accessibility.
• Experience with RxJS or NgRx, RESTful or GraphQL APIs, Git, Agile practices, Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with React, D3.js, Docker, Kubernetes, or other modern frameworks and containerization tools.
• Experience developing secure applications for government or regulated industries.
• Experience optimizing high-traffic, data-intensive applications.
• Swift/iOS development experience.
• Experience integrating AI/ML or LLM-driven features into frontend applications.
