Frontend Developer (Web Applications)

Location: Hybrid in Columbia, Maryland, United States; 1–2 days per week in the office required.

Salary: $75,850–$100,000 per year.

What you will do

• Create, enhance, and maintain web applications for a Data Lake/Warehouse.
• Write and review JavaScript, CSS, and HTML code.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to build user experiences.
• Define and interact with REST-based APIs.
• Troubleshoot customer-reported application issues and provide support.
• Write unit tests and conduct quality assurance testing.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required. A U.S. Government security clearance is not required on the first day but will be processed after hiring.
• Entry-level qualification with a bachelor's degree in a related field and no prior experience, or a high school diploma/equivalent and four years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge or experience with JavaScript and at least one web application framework such as Vue, React, or Angular.
• Familiarity with Git or another version control system, and comfort working on a Unix-like command line.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8140/8570 compliance certification, such as Security+, within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with regular office attendance in Columbia, Maryland.

• Previous experience with BDP.
• Existing DoD 8140/8570 compliance certifications.
