Frontend Developer (JavaScript)

Location: Hybrid role based in Columbia, Maryland, United States, with an average of 1–2 days per week in the Columbia office. U.S. Citizenship and a current Secret-level U.S. Government Security Clearance are required.

Salary: $115,199–$140,000 per year.

What you will do

• Create, enhance, and maintain web applications.
• Develop and review JavaScript, CSS, and HTML code.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to build holistic user experiences.
• Define and integrate REST-based APIs.
• Troubleshoot customer-reported application issues and provide support.
• Write unit tests and conduct quality assurance testing.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of frontend software development or engineering experience, with a relevant degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of JavaScript experience and experience with one or more web application frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control software and comfort working on a Unix-like command line.
• Strong self-management, prioritization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Current Secret-level U.S. Government Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship are required.
• DoD 8140/8570 compliance certification must be obtained within 60 days of employment.

Nice to have

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Previous experience with a Data Lake/Warehouse.
