Property Risk Engineer for BA Industrial

Location: Primary workplace is the office in Neu-Isenburg, Germany, with the option to work from home 1–2 days per week; a fully home-based arrangement may be considered case by case but is not preferred. Travel within Germany and internationally is expected for approximately 30–40 days per year.

What you will do

• Conduct property and business interruption risk assessments for industrial clients.
• Assess fire risks and contribute to evaluations of electrical, machinery, natural hazard, chemical, and large real estate risks.
• Provide client consultations and pragmatic loss-prevention recommendations based on German and international standards.
• Support group development projects within the Risk Engineering function.
• Collaborate with underwriting, sales, claims, and international risk management colleagues.
• Travel within Germany and internationally approximately 30–40 days per year.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience.
• BSc or MSc degree in engineering or a related field.
• Strong hazard identification, risk assessment, analytical, communication, and client consultation skills.
• Experience or strong knowledge in fire engineering, electrical, machinery, chemical industry hazards, or large real estate risks.
• Knowledge of corporate risk management, sprinkler standards, loss-prevention standards, and international insurance programs is beneficial.
• Fluent German and English are required.
