Project and Bid Manager

Salary: CAD 120,000–140,000 per year

What you will do

• Plan and manage FACTS and substation customer projects from award through closeout, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, contractual, and customer satisfaction targets.
• Organize resources, analyze risks, coordinate partners, and provide timely project reporting.
• Support sales by defining deliverables, identifying subcontractors, preparing budgets, and managing schedules and changes.
• Lead end-to-end bid coordination across technical, finance, legal, quality, and HSE functions.
• Analyze customer requirements and tender specifications to develop tailored solutions and persuasive proposal content.
• Define bid strategies, win themes, value propositions, and mitigation plans for bid risks.

Requirements

• Background in electrical engineering.
• Industry knowledge of AIS, GIS, FACTS, HVDC, and battery storage.
• Experience with EPC project execution, planning, control, and reporting.
• Experience using Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
• Knowledge of project management processes; PMP certification is preferred.
• Fluency in French is required for the French-speaking work environment, along with English proficiency for international documentation, technical communication, and customer, supplier, and colleague interactions.
