Information Security Engineering Analyst 1 (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid position in Duluth, Georgia, United States

Salary: $50,000–$57,000 annually

What you will do

• Support endpoint security and data loss prevention solutions.
• Prepare security log reports for management review.
• Participate in vulnerability and threat management activities.
• Collect data for root cause analysis of security incidents with senior security team members.
• Translate technical security deficiencies into business risks.
• Support proof-of-concept initiatives and verify information security requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 2–3 years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity and the ability to research, analyze, and resolve complex problems.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility.
• Knowledge of Microsoft data governance, security, and compliance tools, including Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Defender Portal, is beneficial.

Nice to have

• Experience with the vulnerability assessment lifecycle, network security, or cyber forensic investigations.
• Experience securing business data on removable storage devices through full-disk and media encryption.
