Associate Security Engineer (AI Security)

Location: Hybrid role with regular in-office presence required at the Minneapolis (MSP) office, United States

Annual salary: $70,600–$90,000 USD

What you will do

• Build and maintain MCP servers and tool integrations for security-engineering agents.
• Contribute to internal tooling repositories through issues, pull requests, and documentation.
• Integrate agent tooling with CrowdStrike Falcon, Panther, Jira, and open-source security tools.
• Apply offensive-security methods, including prompt-injection, jailbreak, tool-abuse, and permission-boundary testing.
• Develop Python and SQL tooling, data pipelines, evaluation harnesses, dashboards, and automations.
• Document agent evaluations with reproduction steps, business impact, severity, remediation guidance, and re-verification results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Working proficiency in a general-purpose programming language, preferably Python, with shipped code.
• Hands-on experience with offensive-security tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, or Metasploit in an authorized context.
• Familiarity with SIEM and log-analysis concepts, Git-based version control, and collaborative software development.
• Familiarity with AWS serverless technologies, including Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, and EC2.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with regular attendance at the Minneapolis MSP office.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM tooling, agent frameworks, or MCP.
• OSINT and reconnaissance tooling experience, including Shodan, Maltego, or theHarvester.
• Prior authorized red-team or C2 infrastructure experience.
• Responsible vulnerability disclosure experience or a competitive security background.
