Sr Analyst, Credit

Location: La Aurora, Heredia, Costa Rica

What you will do

• Evaluate the creditworthiness and risk exposure of new and existing customers using credit scoring and customer-to-cash tools.
• Set up and manage regional credit limits, process credit applications, and handle cases requiring manual review and approval.
• Evaluate and release orders placed on hold and monitor or enhance automation rules to improve release efficiency.
• Manage bank guarantees, letters of credit, cash collateral, and netting agreements where applicable.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Sales, Commercial, IT, and external technology vendors on customer credit matters and reporting.
• Standardize and improve regional and global credit risk management processes while developing new risk management solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; graduation or at least 80% completion is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in a shared service center or similar credit or risk management role.
• Experience with Credit Integration Solution or an equivalent credit scoring tool and the C2C Technology Credit Module.
• Experience working in a SOX-regulated environment and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• English at C1 level is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with JDE and SAP.
• Portuguese language skills.
