Field Service Technician (Appliance Repair)

Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan metro area and surrounding areas, United States

Salary: $25.25–$29.75 USD per hour

What you will do

• Travel to customer homes to maintain and repair LG appliances, TVs, and A/C units.
• Diagnose technical problems, assess repairs, replace parts, and document findings.
• Repair major appliances, including refrigeration and sealed systems, cooking, and cleaning products.
• Use company-provided safety equipment, vehicles, diagnostic tools, and test equipment.
• Pre-screen service calls, process paperwork, and complete data entry after each job.
• Meet customer satisfaction, first-time fix, revisit, parts management, and overtime metrics.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a technical role; appliance repair experience is preferred.
• Experience repairing major appliances and using tools and diagnostic test equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product or system issues.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate EPA certification.
• Ability to continuously bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
