Field Service Technician (Appliance Repair) - Albuquerque, NM

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico metro area, with coverage of surrounding areas

Salary: $24.25–$28.25 USD per hour

What you will do

• Travel to customers’ homes to maintain and repair LG appliances, televisions, and air-conditioning units.
• Diagnose technical issues, assess damage, repair products, and replace parts when needed.
• Use safety equipment, company vehicles, diagnostic tools, and technical test equipment correctly.
• Pre-screen service calls, collect diagnostic information, and document service findings.
• Process paperwork and data entry after each job while managing parts and inventory.
• Meet service metrics including customer satisfaction, first-time fix rate, revisits, parts management, and overtime targets.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a technical role; appliance repair experience is preferred.
• Experience repairing major appliances, including refrigeration and sealed systems, cooking equipment, and cleaning products.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product or system issues.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate EPA certification.
• Ability to meet field-service physical requirements, including continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
